Balloon Volleyball

Make a “net” by tying a piece of string between 2 chairs and then have your child hit the balloon back and forth by running from one side to the other, trying to keep it off the floor.

If you have 2 or more kids, have them hit it over the net as many times as they can without it falling.

Bible memory verse. 1 CHRONICLES 16:9

Sing to him, sing praises to him;

tell of all his wondrous works!

Keep building your rock garden!

Paint a ROCK MONSTER or two!

Get some rock design ideas from the storybook "ROCK GARDEN".

This is a terrific book to help kids understand their emotions around Covid-19.

What is praising God? (Showing God how amazing we think he is, giving thanks to him, celebrating his works and love.)

How do we praise God? (We can say out loud how amazing God is, we can write or draw or sing about God, we can give gifts to him.)

Why should we praise God? (God loves to hear our praise, it is good for our hearts to praise God, and it helps others know how amazing God is. )

Watch WonderBlimp and talk about this.

Watch and listen to Clive and Ian as they answer...

How do we show respect to God through praise?

Play a family board game

We know that kids get big benefits out of this special family time. Board games teach them about teamwork, patience, and how to win and lose gracefully. Board games can actually benefit kids' brains and language development too!

Take a family vote! "What's your favourite board game?"

Share a riddle with 5 people!

It’s as light as a feather, but the strongest person can’t hold it for more than five minutes. What is it?

Breath!

A man was walking in the rain in the middle of nowhere without a coat or an umbrella. He got soaked, but not a single hair on his head was wet. How can this be?

He was bald!
